“History, Politics, and Diplomacy of the Arab-Israeli Conflict”

This course is an introductory survey of the history, politics and diplomacy of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Coverage includes introductions to modern Jewish and Arab histories, the evolution of Zionism and Arab nationalism, the demise of the Ottoman Empire, and the operation and demise of the British Mandate in Palestine.
