“History of Modern Israel”

This undergraduate lecture course focuses on the history, politics, society, economics and culture of modern Israel. It traces the Jewish connection to ancient Israel, origins of Zionism, making and keeping the state, Arab-Israeli negotiations, and Israel’s place in Middle Eastern and Jewish history.
