Meeting in Cairo, the Arab League unequivocally rejects the Trump plan for the United States to take over and rebuild the Gaza Strip and to forcefully remove the Palestinian population. As an alternative, the Arab League proposes a $53 billion reconstruction plan and a technocratic interim administration for Gaza under the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.
