As president, Clinton hosted the signing of the 1993 Oslo Accords, helped Jordan and Israel achieve a peace treaty in 1994, and mediated the 1995 Oslo II agreement that recognized the Palestinian Authority. He brokered the Wye River Memorandum in 1998 to keep the Oslo process alive and brought Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and PA President Yasser Arafat to Camp David in mid-2000 before presenting the Clinton Parameters for a final peace deal in December 2000.
