Israel’s thirty-sixth government since the state’s establishment in 1948 took office, led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Bennett became Israel’s fourteenth Prime Minister. He head a fragile coalition government made up of eight parties. The ruling coalition agreement calls for him to rotate the position of Prime Minister with Yair Lapid, of the Yesh Atid Party in August 2023. (source)
