Maya Rezak and Ken Stein, Center for Israel Education
Articles and books on the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement and on antisemitism on U.S. campuses, with suggested sources to read on the history and politics of Zionism and modern Israel.
Even before the brutal Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, antisemitism and anti-Zionism in the public square rose dramatically in Europe and the United States (AJC poll, 2023; ADL, J7 Annual Report on Antisemitism, 2025). Underlying attacks on Israel are claims that delegitimize Israel and Jewish peoplehood, as well as vehement arguments for Israel’s violent destruction, often by Hamas leaders or the Iranian regime. For poignant and brief introductions to antisemitism and anti-Zionism, the summaries by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks (z”l) are unmatched. As a companion to this bibliography, we suggest CIE’s antisemitism bibliography, which contains additional references and linked items.
