How can adults and students alike know what information to trust about Israel and the Middle East, especially when it comes to social media? How can any of us learn to be critical consumers of the flood of information available in the world?

In this June 16, 2021, session from the 20th annual Enrichment Workshop on Modern Israel held by the Center for Israel Education and the Emory University Institute for the Study of Modern Israel, CIE’s Ken Stein and Tal Grinfas-David and Unpacked for Educators’ Avi Posen join three 2020 college graduates in discussing the problems of separating trustworthy and questionable sources.

Posen offers TikTok examples from the May conflict between Hamas and Israel, and Grinfas-David provides resources through the CIE website.
