In this two-part Whiteboard video series, we explore the transition from the 1978 Camp David Accords to the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty signed at the White House on March 26, 1979. Part One, After Camp David, focusses on the issues that divided the two countries, as well as Washington, including linking autonomy for the Palestinians to the Egyptian-Israeli agreement. Part Two, Egypt-Israel Peace, explores how Egypt and Israel were able to overcome their differences on key issues and agree on a historic peace agreement with guidance from Washington.
