Three members of the Jewish Agency: Abba Eban, Jon Kimche and David Horowitz, meet with ‘Azzam Pasha, the Secretary General of the Arab League, at the Savoy Hotel in London, seeking a dialogue on how to perhaps avoid an Arab-Jewish war. Horowitz’s account of the meeting reveal ‘Azzam Pasha’s total rejection of a Jewish State and his suggestion that violence would be the only recourse. His speculation includes Palestine’s loss of Arab control, yet he and the Arab League are not going to embrace Zionism or a Jewish state. (source)
