Hadassah and the Zionist Organization of Canada collectively raise $1,033,942.91. This money is distributed to the Jewish National Fund and to numerous schools and medical centers in Mandate Palestine. The Canadian Zionist, a monthly publication from this organization, has a distribution of 14,500 throughout Canada, which in 1944 has some 170,000 Jews spread out over 73 cities.
