The-EU Action Plan lays out the strategic objectives of Israel-EU cooperation, supporting Israel’s effort at further integration into European economic and social structures. The plan covers a three year time frame. It also encourages cooperation in fields of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the fight against terrorism and “to prevent and resolve conflicts in the region and beyond.” In 2013, Israel’s trade with the EU approaches $29 billion Euro’s, making the EU one of Israel’s largest trading partners.(source)
