The Labor and Likud Parties lose significant representation in the Knesset. Barak forms a coalition with One Israel, Shas, Meretz, Center Party, Mafdal, Yahadut Hatorah, and Yisrael B’aliyah. Significant strength swings to Shas and Russian immigrant parties.
