In the midst of Israel seeking new defense and technology partnerships around the world (India and China), Foreign Minister Moshe Ya’alon and his Kazakh counterpart sign this defense agreement in Tel Aviv. The agreement, which is predicated on the launching of Israeli-made satellites in Kazakhstan in 2011 and 2013, drastically increases Israeli defense exports, including drones, border security technology and satellite communications systems.
