As usual, Israel does not comment on media to report military engagements. However, in a highly unusual step, an “anonymous” Obama administration official confirms the Israeli attack. It ignites a fire storm of Israeli government anger against public comments about Israeli actions. Israeli officials do not understand why on the day that the US military kills a high value Taliban leader with a drone, the US points a finger at Israel for defending itself against Hezbollah.
