Chez Jo Goldberg, a Jewish Deli in Paris, is attacked by two assailants. Grenades and machine guns are used to carry out the terrorist attack, in which six people are killed and 22 injured. The Abu Nidal Organization, an international, Palestinian terrorist group, is suspected of organizing and carrying out the attack. The attack occurs while Arafat and the PLO are under Israeli siege in Beirut. In January 2015, terrorists attack a kosher supermarket in Paris, killing four Jews as part of a broader assault that month on a French newspaper, that kills twelve and wounds 11 others.
