Syrian President Al-Atasi Endorses War to Regain Palestine

Al-Atasi says, “Arab Palestinians who were expelled from their homeland now realize that armed struggle is the only way to regain their homeland. Let Israel know that the Palestinian fedayeen (across the border attacks against Israelis) activities will continue until they liberate their homeland. The cause of these activities is the aggressive Zionist existence itself. ” In May 1966, he said, “We raise the slogan of the people’s liberation war. We want total war with no limits, a war that will destroy the Zionist base.”
