Aumann wins the Nobel Prize in Economics for his work in Game Theory, in which he discovered rational explanations of human behaviors that had previously been misunderstood and considered irrational. He wins the prize jointly with his partner Thomas Schelling. At the time of his award, he is a professor at the Center for Rationality in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Stony Brook University.
