A dancer and choreographer, Wertheim is the artistic director of Vertigo Dance Company, founded with partner Adi Shaal in Jerusalem in 1992. They added a dance school in 1997 and in 2007 established the Vertigo Eco Art Village at Kibbutz Netiv Halamed-Heh to promote sustainable living and artistic creativity. She has created more than a dozen works and the Power of Balance program for people with disabilities.
