CIE’s one-day workshops are held in conjunction with local communal, school, congregational, and educational organizations and can be tailored to meet your individual needs in teaching Israel. Either bringing together educators from various teaching environments in a community or working with educators from a single organization, CIE’s one-day workshops enrich participants’ understanding about Israel’s origins, development, and sustenance; offer useful tools for classroom application; and provide participants with a wealth of source material for use in teaching and programming.
We will work with your community or organization to tailor the need of the workshop to your institutional needs and time structure.
Local organizers are responsible for publicity, teacher recruitment, and logistical arrangements. The local organizers are also expected to underwrite the cost of these workshops including facilitator travel. Occasionally, grants may be available to subsidize portions of the workshop costs. There are a limited number of one-day workshops which may be conducted in a year; allowing three to six months for advance planning is required.
If you are interested in hosting with CIE a half day, one-day or professional enrichment opportunity in person or online , please contact Dr. Tal Grinfas-David at tal.david@israeled.org.
